Cut from 1980s denim and treated in-house with layered paintwork to give it the kind of wear that usually takes decades, this pair carries decades of fabric stitched into one. Patchwork includes vintage denim from the 1970s through the early ’90s, midcentury cottons, Japanese textiles from the 1910s, ’80s ripstop, and a few panels of vintage velour for good measure. Carefully hand-repaired and machine-stitched throughout, with a slightly tapered silhouette to keep it all grounded. If Frankenstein wore jeans, they’d probably look like this.
