About V&V

Vigilant & Virtuous (V&V) is more than a clothing label—it’s a reclamation. Every garment starts as a relic: vintage military jackets, worn-out denim, forgotten workwear. Through our hands, they’re transformed. We stitch grit into fashion, distress with intention, and honor the stories in every thread. V&V is where the past collides with the future.

We’re not here to blend in. V&V exists to provoke, preserve, and protect individuality. Our pieces carry the weight of their history—patched, printed, stained, and reimagined for the ones who wear their scars with pride. Whether it’s paint-splattered drawstring shorts or jackets screaming with symbolism, our work is stitched with meaning and designed to outlive trends.

Meet the Founder — Carson

Carson is the vision, the hands, and the DNA of V&V. With a deep respect for history and designer's mindset he's spent years refining the art of reimagining garments. "The people I hold close are the ones who've been torn, scarred, and mended--their results is their beauty. Our clothing is built to bear that same truth."

The DNA of V&V is built on four pillars: the western grit I found on my father's ranch, the awe I felt for my neighbor--the last surviving member of SEAL Team One--whose stories lit my imagination, the fire of rock & roll sparked by grunge records my uncle handed down, and a faith I was raised in but only truly claimed as my own in adulthood. These forces forged the soul and aesthetic of this brand.

The V&V Process

Every V&V item starts with deconstruction—ripping seams, sourcing rare vintage fabrics, and laying bare the bones of what came before. From there, it’s rebuilt by hand: sanding denim, painting in layers, distressing by blade, stitching patches, and reinforcing wear points. The process isn’t fast, but it’s honest, and the details show—frayed edges, exposed seams, handwritten text, mismatched patterns, and bandannas held together by thousands of stitches.

We don’t mass-produce. We reconstruct. Each garment is treated like a canvas, and no two are the same. Videos of our distressing and dyeing process show the work in motion—thread by thread, stitch by stitch—until the piece looks like it’s lived a thousand lives and is ready for yours.

Once your item is complete, it's carefully washed several times, spritzed with our custom scent, tagged with a breakdown of its components, and sealed in one of our signature evidence bags. Each seal is finished with our custom V&V wax stamp, certifying that what you're receiving isn't just clothing--it's a piece of art, packed with care and conviction.

In the real world

You’ll find our pieces on the backs of artists, skaters, musicians, mechanics, and rebels of every kind. Some wear them to make a statement. Others just feel at home in the grit and comfort. Whether it’s layered under leather or paired with boots and a beer, each piece gets better with age. We love seeing our gear out in the wild: beat-up, broken-in, lived-in. From city streets to backwoods concerts, V&V fits wherever there’s a story to tell. Our community isn’t just wearing clothes—they’re wearing history.
